Last Minute Listing: The Attic @ The Oubliette Arthouse

Curated by Londonist favourites EastEnd Cabaret at the former Limelight Club in Shaftesbury Avenue in conjunction with professional squatters and itinerant arts group The Oubliette, the deliciously twisted duo present The Attic, three nights (28-30 December) of entertainment with something for everyone. The cabaret includes plenty of the best of 2010: as well as the EEC's Victor Victoria and Bernadette Byrne, we are promised the likes of burlesque queen Kiki Kaboom, Sarah-Louise Young (the singer not the porn star), multi-instrumentalist Edd Keene and urbane French philanderer and stand-up Marcel Lucont.  In the Cloakroom, Gypsy Finta will be giving a display of Amazing Flyer Fortune Telling while in the Blue Room, there will be an all night life drawing marathon care of the Life Drawing Society.  Add in some film, spoken word, poetry, an art installation and live music and there should be enough to tempt most people off the sofas and out before New Year's Eve.

See below for a taster of EastEnd Cabaret at the CellarDoor:

The event takes place at Oubliette Arthouse, 136 Shaftesbury Ave, London, W1D 5EZ. Entry is by guestlist only; email [email protected] for a reservation.  The event is free but a £3 donation to cover costs would be appreciated.
