Join The CoolTan Arts Largactyl Shuffle

A special seasonal walk mixes madness with mince pies, exploring the mental health history of Southwark and the 'Mad Art' that came out of "Bedlam" and the Maudsley.

The CoolTan Arts Largactyl Shuffle walk starts at midday on Saturday 18 December, convening at Tate Modern and trails 5 miles through the back streets of Southwark, winding up at the Maudsley in Camberwell for a rendez-vous with Father Christmas and some carols.

The Largactyl Shuffle is named after the oldest anti-psychotic drug chlorpromazine sold as Largactil in Europe which has severe side effects. The walk is free but a voluntary contribution will be appreciated, all money goes towards CoolTan Arts, a charity which believes mental health is enhanced by creativity.

All walk info is at the Cooltan Arts website.
