Preview: 100 Years Of Iconic London Transport Posters

2807_undergroundposter.jpg Fans of transport lore should head to a free talk at Apple's new Covent Garden store this Wednesday, October 27th. Claire Dobbin, senior curator at Apple's Covent Garden neighbours, the London Transport Museum, will present highlights from a century's worth of iconic poster design, featuring the work of past masters such as Man Ray, Howard Hodgkin and Sir Peter Blake. The event is free, and begins at 7pm. Transport poster enthusiasts may also be interested by an exhibition at Burgh House, Hampstead, and there's also a show currently running at the V&A on Tube architect Charles Holden.
