Olympic Park To Be Named After The Queen, which have changed substantially from the original design. Where residential blocks predominated, the new scheme is inspired by London's traditional John Nash-built terraced houses and garden squares. The 500-acre site will have around 8,000 homes in mostly low-rise developments, a reduction from the originally proposed 10,000, with more space now afforded to gardens and other green areas.
