Returning for their 5th birthday, today Mencap have announced the initial line-up for their always very popular Little Noise sessions at Union Chapel. Running November 15 -20, Jo Whiley curates the sessions meaning an eclectic mixture of established artists and those teetering on the horizon of success.
Tom Jones is the big name opening the mini festival as he returns to the place where he launched his current album 'Praise & Blame' to perform selected tracks from it with the promise of special guests. Paolo Nutini takes care of Tuesday night with support from Rumer and Michael Kiwanuka, while Hurts and Claire Maguire appear on Wednesday in a venue that certainly matches their eerie sounds. There's much more to be announced but tickets for these first three dates go on sale on Friday and you're encouraged to register at the Little Noise Sessions site for the first chance to buy tickets.
