Ticket Alert: Flaming Lips @ Alexandra Palace

The Flaming Lips For the superfans and the faithful, the annual Don't Look Back gigs tend to be a highlight of the year. Bands who've been knocking about for a good while take time out for a special gig where they play back one of their classic albums in full.

The latest to join the list is The Flaming Lips who'll be filling Alexandra Palace with the sounds of their seminal 1999 album 'The Soft Bulletin' next July. Tickets are a somewhat seat shuffling £40, but if you've seen the Lips before you'll know that they tend to put on shows which definitely stick in your memory. Plus they'll be joined by two other bands playing their classic albums in full makes it an indie line-up heaven - Dinosaur Jr who will play their 1988 album 'Bug' and Deerhoof performing their 2004 album 'Milk Man'.

It's quite a while off, but tickets are on sale now.
