The (mostly) naturally lit foyer of Queen Elizabeth Hall was a good place to show off the effortless cool of Jonathan Saunder's latest collection. The visual equivalent of eating a mouth watering opal fruit, we were transported to breezy summer days with his sophisticated take on skater skirts and unusual and appealing colour combinations. Smart, glamorous and fun, we want to live in a world where everyone dresses like this!

In stark contrast, Todd Lynn's collection, 'Genesis Redux' was dark and menacing, with his signature androgynous razor sharp tailoring taking on a sci-fi edge. Models with their bleached eyebrows and slicked back hair looked every inch the futuristic android as they strutted their stuff in reptilian inspired pieces that included python skin panelling and mirrors. The Louboutin heels and a couple of body-con dresses whacked a bit of sexiness into an otherwise emotionless collection.
