London Fashion Week: 100 Days Of Active Resistance

100daysViv.jpg As London Fashion Week gets into its swing today, it's not just her Sunday show that eccentric fashion designer (and STYLEist Rising Designer favourite), Vivienne Westwood has been busy with.

This week saw Vivienne Westwood Anglomania and Lee launch 100 Days of Active Resistance - 100 days of positive thought, active change, speaking up and being heard. From small personal actions to larger collective moments of change the project is all about encouraging communication and individuality through an online installation, sharing interpretations of Vivienne Westwood's Active Resistance.

Every day for one hundred days, one image representing your ideas of Active Resistance in the world will be selected from submissions and shared online. At the close of 100 days, the 100 chosen images will become a part of an itinerant London exhibition dedicated to the project. Submissions can take the form of a photo, a slogan, an image or an artwork, anything that expresses your Active Resistance, and need to be in before September 28th 2010 - the day the installation goes live. The 100 days will close on January 5th 2011.
