Thames Barrier To Teddington: Part of Photomonth 2010

Already there are some fine photos of the River Thames in our project Flickrpool. There's still plenty of time to get out there and take pictures - especially from the lesser photographed banks. Remember, we want a snapshot of the entire stretch from Thames Barrier to Teddington. To encourage you, a couple of exciting updates:

  • The exhibition at Foyles Gallery has been accepted as part of Photomonth 2010 which means lots of extra publicity and kudos to the exhibited photographers.
  • We have just confirmed our first judge: Simon Baker who is Curator, Photography and International Art for Tate.

And on matters Tate, while you're out photographing the river you could drop by Tate Modern and visit the current exhibition Exposed: Voyeurism, Surveillance and the Camera.. There will be copies of the catalogue up for grabs in the project prize pot.

photomonth-logo-black-on-white.jpg The competition is open until the end of September. Exhibition is at Foyles Gallery 11-24 October 2010 with a private view and party on Friday 22 October (save the date and Facebook RSVP).
