Inspiration! A shot from a previous Shoot.
The Shoot Experience team continue to blaze a photographic trail across the city, this time teaming up with the National Portrait Gallery for an extravaganza that promises to be two-parts photography, one-part action-adventure and one-part unbridled competition.

Prizes (from badges and certificates for effort to Olympus cameras and CDs for talent) are up for grabs as teams of two- to four-people are unleashed on the gallery and surrounding West End with a unique (and, we're guessing, portrait themed) brief, with only four manic hours to realise it. Once everyone has filled their memory card with pictures of bemused-looking strangers, the teams will congregate on mass at St Martins Place for a slideshow of the day's efforts, and to laugh raucously at - or shoot jealous looks towards - fellow competitors before the prizes are handed out by a team of expert judges.

And, if that's not enough, consolation is at hand for those not lucky enough to go home with a winner's medal - all of the shots from the day will be displayed at one of the National Portrait Gallery's Lates events, as well as on the Shoot Experience website.
