Preview: Medieval Magic Walks

treadwells_table.jpg Two different walks this month take you on a tour of London's olde magic(k)al ways. It's A Right Royal Brew introduces you to some of England's medieval royals and courtiers who were known to dabble in the dark arts, while Witches, Wizards and Warlocks explores the streets of Covent Garden and Embankment in search of the area's past magicians and witches.

Blue Badge Guide Delianne Forget runs both walks, in conjuction with Treadwell's Books, and she should know what she's talking about since she herself is a white witch. She's always popular, and you'd be well advised to book in advance.

It's A Right Royal Brew leaves Westminster tube station at 7pm on 11th and 18th August, and 2pm on 14th August, £7. Witches, Wizards and Warlocks leaves Treadwell's Bookshop at 7pm on 16th, 23rd and 25th August, £7.
