After speculation as to whether the Hammers or Hotspur will claim their slice of the Cupcake post 2012, the Olympic Legacy Company today announced that serious costed bids for taking on the Olympic Stadium must be submitted by the end of September. 150 expressions of interest have been received. West Ham remain the favourites and have been working closely with Newham Council on their joint plans. Could they be scuppered by the O2 supremos, AEG? Or could the spirit of corporate collaboration strike and put them all on track together? We'll find out by Christmas.
