Parliament Square Pitstop For Red Bull

democracy050710.jpg The Democracy Village protesters were treated to their own private mini Grand Prix last week when F1 driver Mark Webber performed a lap of Parliament Square as part of a PR stunt - at 6am. The camp was due to be dismantled after a high court order went through but an 11th hour reprieve meant they got to see (and hear) the Red Bull car in action. We hope they had their earplugs handy. Webber also managed a pit stop of 3.2 seconds in front of the Houses of Parliament - usually just long enough for Westminster’s parking officers to spring into action.
