Banksy is to London street art what Bart is to the Simpsons - the most famous representative, if not necessarily the most interesting, of a varied bunch. If you want to learn more about London's constantly shifting scene, a new weekly tour from Hookedblog might be just the thing.
Some might say that the East London Street Art Walking Tours are misnamed, focusing as they do on mostly Zone 1 locations around Shoreditch, Brick Lane and Old Street. Nevertheless, you'll take in some of the best street art in the UK thanks to the likes of Space Invader, D*Face, Roa, Stik, Conor Harrington, Eine and, of course, Banksy.
The first tour takes place this Saturday, starting 11am from Old Street (repeated thereafter every Saturday). Places must be booked in advance (email [email protected]) and cost £10 per person for the two hour tour.
