The Queen: You've Got To Laugh

QueenLaugh.jpg The Queen had a good giggle recently, and as there hasn't been much to laugh about during the last few weeks, we're sharing her glee. The Queen LOLed during a photoshoot with a military officer in full 17th century armour, as he struggled into his seat next to her and clanked away like a brass band. Major Paul Champness was trying to take his seat to next her in his role as bodyguard to the Lord Mayor of London (full title: Captain of the Company of Pikemen and Musketeers of the Honourable Artillery Company). Liz also managed a laughing fit at another photoshoot with the 1st Battalion, the Grenadier Guards when she sat in the wrong seat. You've got to laugh, eh? And she did have to deal with all those Prime Ministers trooping in and out of her palace recently, so we can indulge her brief moments of giggling flakiness. Next: she shoots coffee out of her nose when Philip sits on the Whoopee cushion she's hidden in his armchair. Tomorrow: she bends over double and slaps her knees when a courtier steps in fake corgi poo she's placed in his path
