Sherlock Holmes Twitter Comp Offers Chance To Open Tower Bridge

Sit here, press big red button, watch bridge go up.

Ever wanted to raise Tower Bridge? A new competition gives you the chance to sit in the control chair and push that big red button (and it really is a big red button; we've been).

It's all part of a promotional campaign by movie streaming site BlinkBox. The recent Sherlock Holmes movie is now available through their service and, to help spread the word, their PR company have devised a cunning social media campaign worthy of Moriarty himself.

To enter the competition, tweet details of the greatest mystery that you have ever solved to @sherlocksbridge.

The person with the best response, as judged by the geezer who plays Inspector Lestrade in the movie, will get to raise Tower Bridge. Their press release uses the god-awful pun 'the game is a foot-bridge', but we'd rather call it the Hounds of the Bascules.
