Shoreditch House has recently launched Shoreditch Rooms, bringing 26 bedrooms to the East End's glam private members club (we actually bumped into a minor TV sleb in the lift during our visit this afternoon). Only open a few weeks, rooms are already booked solid. Sharing the same Ebor Street entrance as the club and available in “Tiny, Small and Small+” sizes to members as well as non-member riffraff, rooms range in price from £75-195/night (£60-175 for members).

Each room features wooden shutters, a mini fridge, safe, hairdryer and straightener, rainforest shower, Cowshed products, radio, SkyTV, alarm clock, DVD player, kettle and i-Pod dock. Small+ rooms come with terraces and the potential of some pretty stunning skyline views of Shoreditch and the City. For non-mems, booking grants temporary membership to Shoreditch House, which - with its rooftop pool and über stylish bars and restaurant - could make for an ideal stay for those not fussed to bed down in the West End (or even to set foot on the pavement outside). Londonist took a quicky tour of the new digs, liked what we saw and would recommend to our out-of-towner friends looking for a quality accommodations within easy access to Liverpool Street Station and across the street from the new Shoreditch High Street Station. Visit Shoreditch Rooms online for more details.
