Wanstead Duck Deaths Investigated

After the mysterious deaths of a dog and ducks at Wanstead Flats, the plot thickens as two men are arrested on suspicion of breaching regulations on pesticide control. Speculation has been rife and poison has been suggested, but the cause of death hasn't yet been determined. According to the Wanstead Birder blog, the lake is still cordoned off while police look into it though no more birds have died since Saturday and keepers are also patrolling the area to warn dog owners. As Daffy would say; dethpicable.
