Littlest Londonist: March 12-18

Taking a glance at upcoming family friendly activities in London. Please only continue reading if accompanied by child.

Saturday: Head to the Museum of London Docklands to meet an Air Raid Precaution Warden and learn about efforts to keep people safe during World War II. The event occurs three times between 12:30-16:00 and is suitable for ages 6+.

Sunday: This Mother's Day pay a visit to Hampton Court Palace for Florimania 2010: Flowers in art. View floral displays inspired by works by artists like Van Gogh and Pollack and stick around for flower arranging demonstrations. Florimania runs from 12-14 March.

The National Gallery is hosting Ahoy There! a sculpture workshop for kids aged 5-11 from 11:00-13:00 and again from 14:00-16:00.

During the Week: Stop by Wendy's World at the Museum of Childhood, which blends structure and photography together in a creative new exhibit.

Book tickets to the Broadway's Thursday production of Jake & Cake, which is suitable for ages 6+. The show starts at 14:00 and costs £5.

The temperature is supposed to rise a bit next week and the sun may come back out to play so venture over to Spitalfields City Farm any day but Monday to spend some time outdoors!
