Foyles have really hit on a great idea with their days of events devoted to one particular publisher, and this Saturday it's the turn of Picador. There are four panels throughout the day at the store's Charing Cross Road branch, covering the thorny issue of how to handle writing about your own family, the less thorny but still difficult task of creating a sense of place, the differences between poetry and prose and how writers move between them, and a discussion on becoming a writer. Some of the excellent Picador authors appearing include Kate Clanchy, Jim Crace, Jackie Kay, Jon Ronson and William Fiennes.

Tickets cost £18 or £15 concession - but we have three pairs and signed copies of Jim Crace's new novel All That Follows to give away. How to get hold of these babies? Easy - just follow us on Twitter and we'll ask a question a day for the next three days. Send us an @reply with the answer and the hashtag #londonistpicador before 5pm and we'll pick a winner at random.

Picador Day @ Foyles is on Saturday 20th March, 11am-5pm in Charing Cross Road. Get more information on the Foyles website or follow Foyles and Picador on Twitter.
