Roll up, roll up (the second time being your trousers) for the best chance of the year to explore the Thames foreshore AND help the local environment. Thames21 are organising two days of riverine spring cleaning to coincide with what they say are the lowest tides of the past half decade. The events take place on the mornings of Tuesday 2 March (Isle of Dogs and Fulham) and Wednesday 3 March (North Woolwich and Hammersmith). There's no need to pre-book.
