If you've raced through all of the top London books and need something to keep you occupied until the London Word Festival, you might want to check out YARNFest, an exciting new storytelling festival happening at the end of February.

Taking place at The Book Club and The Queen of Hoxton, this 5 day event is dedicated to mixing up film, theatre, music and storytelling in innovative and fun ways. Highlights include the next episode of the celebrated Literary Death Match, an innovative multi platform, multi performer rendition of Homer's Odyssey and a tasty Sunday lunch event with comedian Tom Wrigglesworth.

With just as many events aimed at kids as at adults and an average ticket price of just £4 it's well worth a look, although you'd be well advised to book in advance at http://www.yarnfest.com/, where full festival details are also available.

YARNfest runs between 20th-24th February at the Book Club and Queen of Hoxton, East London.
