Preview: United Underground

20_United_Underground_n.jpg Riz MC is back, hitting the Southbank once again with a fresh mix of new music, youth activism and the odd ex-Mayor of London for United Underground. Back in the summer they spilled over onto the roof. Given the weather, this one will stay indoors but the juicy line up including Twee as Fuck, Aruba Red and loads of other acts, artists and DJs, means the night will definitely bubble over. These parties aim to politicise the next generation using new music as a catalyst for change so here's hoping Ken Livingstone leaves all the newt talk at home and doesn't end up looking a fule. Ben White, Peter Tatchell, Andrew Hogg, PEN, Traid and Guerilla Gardening also have their say at at the Queen Elizabeth Hall, 5-11pm, tickets £6. Call 0844 8479910 or buy online.
