Fashion Mavericks' aim is to bring a breath of fresh air to London Fashion Week by presenting an eclectic mix of new and established designers.
The concept behind Lako Bukias second collection is emotions. By using colour, shape and textiles to represent the emotional diversity between good. kind and not so kind, evil, Lako has created this monochrome collection where the sharpest of edges and softest of sculptured lines can be seen in equal measure. The creative use of zips adds another dimension to the garments, making it possible for each of them to be transformed - allowing a new set of contours and moods to emerge. Sounds like money well spent to us!
This collection has already been highly acclaimed and, we too, reckon that London School of Fashion student Lako, who hails from Georgia, is a dab hand with a pair of scissors.
