We're afraid it's not a dream holiday with our Gothamist buddies over in the Big Apple, but Sunday in the West End could be the start to the festive season for any musical fans out there. Returning for the fourth year, the Christmas in New York concert is the start of theatreland's Christmas as stars from the shows come together for a special night filled with seasonal songs and classic carols.
Held at the Prince of Wales theatre, normally the home of Mamma Mia, over seventy stars will appear on stage. For us, we're most excited by the handsome face of Avenue Q's Daniel Boys who will presumably be giving us a treat without a furry friend on his arm, and Beautiful People's Samuel Barnett who plays Simon. Daniel's former Lucy Monster, Julie Atherton, will be there a well as Leanne Jones, Hannah Waddingham, Ashleigh Gray and Jenna Lee James.
The show is this Sunday from 7.30pm and tickets are still on sale here from £17.50.
