It might seem a little early to start getting excited about next summer's festivals, but when headliners are being announced, we can at least dream of sunshine can't we? First up, Hyde Park's Wireless Festival yesterday announced that tickets will go on sale here at £47.50 per day. Pink has been announced as the headliner on Friday 2nd July and will be joined on the line-up by The Ting Tings who will hopefully be revealing a new album at some point early next year.
Next the less corporate heavy Lovebox, held in Hackney's Victoria Park has announced it's plans to extend the festival by an extra day in 2010. Now running over the weekend of 16/17/18 July, the extra day (the Friday) will be headlined by Dizzee Rascal, no doubt causing a big noise in his home area, ably supported by Chase & Status. Tickets are available now at the very slightly cheaper than Wireless price of £45 per day.
