There are few things we've enjoyed more about staying in on a Saturday night in the last few years than the prospect of watching X Factor and then forgetting to go out by spending so long pretending we're just as good by belting out Heart's 'Alone' on the mighty singstar that it's already 1AM when we check the time . While we might be holding out actually proposing to Singstar until they release a musicals version, you could say we are 'quite' excited by the idea of a Take That version hitting stores in the next few weeks.
To celebrate the release, Singstar have teamed up with HIV charity Body & Soul to run a special fundraising event next Thursday night (22nd) at Notting Hill's swanky Tabernacle. Bringing together a whole host of big London music and fashion names like Johnny Woo, Guilty Pleasures and Queens of Noize to celebrate the music of TT, the night will be topped off by a very special appearance from the boys themselves. So just think, while you're blasting out Relight My Fire like you are actually Lulu, at any moment Gary Barlow could grab the microphone and join in with you.
Tickets are on sale now at £20 with all proceeds going to charity and information here. We probably don't need to warn you that this will sell out very quickly.
