Countdown To 2012: Fireworks At BT Tower

Look up at BT Tower today and you'll notice something different. A giant, electronic information band has been installed to help celebrate the 1000 days countdown to the 2012 opening ceremony. The 360 degree LED display is wrapped around the 36th and 37th floors. This is your reminder that tonight, between 8.45-8.55pm, there'll be pyrotechnics and a special message lighting up the iconic Tower so find yourself a good vantage point or switch over from the X-Factor to catch it just after the Beeb's National Lottery Draw show.
