Ticket Alert: Chord In Kingsway Tram Subway

One of Subterranean London's transport favourites, the Kingsway Tram Subway, whose gated entrance is so alluringly prominent above ground yet whose secrets have been firmly squirrelled away since 1952, is being transformed by a giant mechanical installation and opened to the public for one month only.

Artist Conrad Shawcross has collaborated with arts organisation Measure to create the giant underground work involving 2 massive moving rope machines and a whole lot of coloured string. What more do you need to know? Book now.

Conrad Shawcross 'Chord' opens in Kingsway Tram Subway on 8 October until 8 November. Open Wednesday - Sunday, 11am - 7pm. Tickets are free but must be prebooked online at measure.org.uk or in person at the venue.
