Michael Jackson Vienna Tribute Cancelled...Comes To London

For locals who just can't get enough of the former King of Pop, some good news just broke. According to AP, the huge tribute concert planned for Vienna in a few days has been cancelled due to logistical problems and shifted to London next summer. It seems that too many big names (Mary J. Blige, Chris Brown and Natalie Cole apparently fall under this description) are already booked up and cannot make the Austrian concert, and lengthier preparations are needed. "Maybe we underestimated these issues," laments Vienna event promoter Georg Kindel. No word yet on a venue, although it pretty much has to be either the O2 or Wembley. The date is also uncertain, but should be in the 'first half of June'.
