Bringing you the most Londony shows on TV and radio over the coming week.

Fairly measly offerings this week, as the schedules slip from summer to autumn. Some good stuff on the radio, though.

Monday

Self on Ballard (Radio 4, 15.00-15.45) Will Self looks at the work of JG Ballard, noted for his dystopian novels set in West London.

University Challenge (BBC2, 20.00-20.30) Cheer on St George's University of London as they take on York.

With Great Pleasure: Jude Kelly (Radio 4, 23.00-23.30) A discussion with the artistic director of the Southbank Centre.

Tuesday

Afternoon Play: Dickens Confidential (Radio 4, 14.15-15.00) Crime drama told through the eyes of newspaper editor Charles Dickens.

To Catch A Paedophile (ITV1, 22.35-23.35) Following the Metropolitan Police as they seek out and destroy perverts.

Sunday

Kevin Mccoud's Grand Tour (C4, 21.00-22.00) Cracking series this. In this installment, Kev follows in the footsteps of architect Robert Adam whose grand tour of Italy influenced his work back in London and elsewhere in Britain.
