Firewalk Fundraising For Air Ambulance

firewalkBLAZE.jpg Often we feel like we'd walk over hot coals to get at a cold pint but the team at London Air Ambulance, usually so focused on fixing up life threatening injuries rather than inducing them, are actually going to do it. They will firewalk to fundraise for a few service essentials, like pilots, helicopter insurance and fuel. The fire will be faced on 1st September at the Cock and Dragon pub, Cockfosters and they dare you to join them!

All entrants will receive 2 hours of training from experts Blaze Firewalking before they make their way across wood embers burning at 1236 degrees Farenheit. There's science to explain how this is OK and more than a dollop of zen like spirituality to tap into should you be that way inclined.

Blaze Firewalking has apparently never had any entrant refuse to do the walk or injure themselves and there are testimonials to tempt you to it. We're proud to say one of our own will be there, soles bared, for the fiery walk of fundraising so come on, folks. Learn a new skill this September! And more importantly, help keep our Air Ambulance flying.

The Firewalk will be held at the Cock and Dragon pub, Cockfosters, on Tuesday 1st September between 6-9pm. You must be over 16 to enter and commit to raising at least £100 in sponsorship for London's Air Ambulance service. Register before the 15th August to guarantee your place on the walk.
