Let That Be A Warning To Spew

It's not quite in Bad Wolf territory, but the graffiti that's appeared on pavements around Brick Lane to remind revellers of a dystopian-sounding 'dispersal zone' have the power to cause retching. Supposedly splattered beer bottle tops, the council-sponsored images (bearing the slogan "don't blow your top") look like someone's been doing some stomach splattering of their own. The message "grabs people's attention" said one council member; um, yes, but perhaps in the wrong way. It follows Lewisham's dog poop stencils as another yucky addition to London's streets, but at least these will be washed away in the next few days. (Image / Simone LomoLove!)
