0808.marathon.jpg Feeling a bit 'meh' today? Big night out last night? Can't be bothered with the gym, wallpapering or that brisk walk? This tale will get you up, out there and at it in no time. Abdi Dhuhulow was shot and then run over by a truck in his native Somalia: after 13 years of hobbling pain, he ended up having his leg amputated in the UK, which he says gave him back his freedom. He was fitted with a prosthetic leg, and took up running to build up his strength: now the guy's joined the Serpentine Running Club and is doing marathons in just over three hours. He's currently training for September's Three2Go marathon trail. Well, this shook us right up, mark our words. What's that? You too? Hey come back, we ain't through yet..... (Image/See Wah)
