When we remembered it was on, Flomotion was always one of our favourite XFM shows with its mixture of off beat electronica and floaty world beats. What we hadn't realised is that it still exists albeit on a online only station set up by host Nick Luscombe.
Tomorrow night, the Flomotion team go live and present 'Enter The (Little) Dragon' in the Royal Opera House's Paul Hamlyn Hall as the final event of the venue's 'Voices Across The World' season. If one Swedish band playing in London tomorrow isn't enough for you, then prepare to welcome the magical sounding Little Dragon as headliners to this event. Formed in Gothenburg, vocalist Yukimi Nagano drips her icy vocals across a range of funky electro and jazzy songs that can't help but instantly mesmerise you. Joining them will be Japanese jazz wild child Maki Mannami who'll be performing from her 2nd album 'The World of Sense'.
