Monday

The Great London Jump: Robbie Maddison (FIVE, 19.30-20.00) One off stunt show, where the daredevil stunt man attempts a 'spectacular feat in the heart of London'. Tower Bridge. Please, please.

University Challenge (BBC2, 20.00-20.30) The Royal Veterinary College, based in Camden Town, take on Manchester University.

Film: Wimbledon (ITV2, 21.00-23.05) Oddly scheduled tennis-based rom-com.

Tuesday

Arthur Smith's Balham Bash (Radio 4, 23.00-23.30) Musicians perform around the Balham home of Mr Smith.

Thursday

Creature Comforts (ITV2, 19.45-20.00) London-themed installment in which ravens and corgis discuss their employers, and an Indian elephant plans an assault on Buckingham Palace.

Friday

BBC Proms 2009 (BBC2, 20.00-22.30) The annual musicavalcade kicks off, live from the Royal Albert Hall.

Saturday

Archive on Four: Soho (Radio 4, 20.00-21.00) Suggs returns to Soho to see if the place retains its style and soul.

Sunday

The Day of the Triffids (BBC4, 19.00-20.00) The classic TV adaptation of the London-set John Wyndham novel continues.

Young, Dumb and Living Off Mum (BBC3, 21.00-22.00) New reality show (curse those words) in which a group of pampered young layabouts have to cope with 'the real world' for the first time. In the opener, they move into a shared London home and have to work 15-hour shifts at various hotels.

Shaun of the Dead (ITV2, 21.00-23.05) Another chance to see the conquest of London by comedy zombies.
