As promised, members of Unison headed down to Potter's Fields this afternoon to stage a rather unusual protest against plans to cut jobs.
Taking Boris Johnson's "chicken feed" comment as inspiration, the protest featured somebody dressed up as a distinctly piggish-looking Mayor, perhaps suffering from a particularly virulent case of swine flu, serving a giant chicken.
