A Breath of Fresh Sound

If you fancy a stroll this weekend, make it a South Bank shaped one. Hungerford Bridge to be precise. Wherein, or rather whereunder, you can enjoy one of London's more imaginative book launches. Martyn Ware, of HumanLeague/Heaven 17 fame, and his company Illustrious have designed a wave wall of sound to celebrate the oceanic theme of Breath, a new novel by Tim Winton. Visitors will be able to hear a recording of the author reading select passages, set against, well, wave noises we imagine. The event will be taking place from noon 'til 7pm on Saturday and Sunday.
