Preview: Spanish Bombs - A Tropical Tribute to the Clash

On April 28th, the Barbican is hosting what has to be one of the more intriguing events on the gig calendar. Forming part of the La Linea London Latin Music festival, “Spanish Bombs” is a tropical tribute to The Clash. Although this may sound alarming to some of the die hard punks out there, The Clash embraced a variety of genres from around the world, especially on their epic “Sandinista!” album, inspiring many Latin musicians along the way.

Although such events can often be quite hit and miss, with a diverse range of acts such as Alejandro Escovedo, Reggaeton singer Moyenei and Ulises Bella & Wil-Dog Abers of Ozomatli performing, it’s guaranteed to be an eclectic and engaging evening.

Tickets cost £15 - £25 and are available here, but we're giving away a pair of free tickets to one lucky Londonist reader . Simply enter your details below for a chance to win.
