Winter. Blah. But then again, this is the time of year when Raclette (and we mean the really good stuff) is at its best and still in season. So, winter. YAY! For the time being (give it another month or so) South Ken yumsters, La Cave a Fromage, are offering hot Raclette with potatoes, cornichon and a glass of wine for £14.50. We reckon that’s a decent price for such a savoury treat. They also have Raclette for retail purchase (they even sell the Raclette machines!), a new selection of wines (Londonist loves their sweet-n-mellow Monbazillac) and all sorts of (hint hint) Valentine’s hampers and gift ideas. Cheese? Yes please.
