If You Go Down To The Circle Line Tomorrow

Haka_6Feb09.jpg You've a good chance of bumping into a load of drunk New Zealanders. It's Waitangi Day today! And that means a huge pub crawl around the Circle Line tomorrow. Starting off at the Pride of Paddington at 10am, up to 20,000 Kiwis will follow a route round the tube line to Temple, stopping off at Westminster for a shirtless Haka at 4pm and 5pm. We wish them well in the chilly London air. The celebrations could also be the biggest test of Boris's tube booze ban. Revellers are advised to bring their own booze (chances of getting served at a bar being slim to none). Is anyone really going to attempt to eject them from the Underground? (Image / .myke)
