If you're heading to central parts today, take sandwiches and wear comfortable shoes. It's gonna be busy busy busy,we reckon. On the one hand Oxford Street and Regent Street are shut to traffic, and many of the shops there are offering festive entertainment (yah-boo-sucks to *out of town shopping centres*: it's a well known fact that Father Christmas lives at Selfridges anyway). And then to up the ante, just a recycled wrapper away, there is a rather massive march from Hyde Park to parliament to protest about climate change.
