A sumo wrestling tour scheduled for London in October of next year has been cancelled due to the overvalued yen and a lack of corporate sponsors wishing to pony up the cash. The London Grand Sumo Tournament, planned by the Japan Sumo Association, would have been the group's first European exhibition tour in 14 years, yet thanks to this global crisis, London sumo enthusiasts will miss out on seeing proposed venue the Royal Albert Hall turned into a dohyō.
