If you happened to be down at the Late at Tate Britian last night, you may have had the opportunity to see the photos of the winners of the Street and Studio competition held by Tate, Flickr and Blurb earlier this year. To complement the Street and Studio exhibition held a few months back at the Tate Modern, Flickr members were asked to submit their own urban portrait. With over 3000 submissions, 100 winners were selected and the photos compiled and published in a book.

Last night was the launch party of the book where many Flickr members attended in order to see the winning photo's projected on a wall in the Duveen Gallery, which is an honour for any photographer to be exhibited, if only briefly, at the Tate. Don't worry if you missed out as you can take a look at the photos via the Flickr Street or Studio group or purchase the Street and Studio: Photobook available at Blurb.
