Londonist wishes we were a little bit richer; then we could be regulars at Barrafina. Don't just concentrate on the proffered placemat menu as daily specials are displayed (on ice for the seafood) and recited to you too. On our last visit, from the specials we ordered the grilled razor clams with olive oil, garlic and parsley (photo above). These were probably cooked a la plancha and were not at all rubbery but tender and so flavourful. Desserts were also quite spectacular, with the fig salad (pictured below) being quite the highlight. The place though is small and it would be wise to go early to get a seat at the bar. However, waiting isn't so painful when there are croquetas on which to snack...
