Earlier this year, artist John Newling asked 500 Euston Road pedestrians, "What do you do to make yourself feel better?" He then recombined the scenarios in mathematically optimal ways to produce the ultimate prescriptions for Londonitis: "Clean an area of Southbank and place a pot plant in it," or "Listen to prayers on an iPod while eating cakes in a cake shop." This pharmacy of feel-good ideas is on display at the Wellcome Collection, and the artist will be reading all 500 answers out loud from 1-4:30 tomorrow afternoon as part of the all day event City of Diseases, City of Cures.
