Here’s a chance to win a free Moscow Mule Cocktail Kit courtesy of Smirnoff, who wants to celebrate the Moscow Mule with Londonist readers. Much like the average Londonist reader, the Moscow Mule is particularly stylish and refreshing, comprised of vodka, ginger ale and a wedge of fresh lime.

Smirnoff’s cocktail kit contains a bottle of triple distilled Smirnoff vodka and two cans of Schweppes Canada Dry Ginger Ale plus a selection of stainless steel cocktail accessories including a shaker, spirit measure and strainer.

Five lucky readers will win one of these fantastic cocktail kits. For your chance to win, all you have to do is simply answer this question:

Its sodding ginger beer not ale

Ginger beer & ginger ale are different, no? I mean, Canada Dry doesn't taste much like Old Jamaican.

I'm with ya kids. Really I am. I prefer ginger beer to ginger ale in my mules too (I even like some ginger beer in my Pimms & lemonade and a dark & stormy is one of all time favourite cocktails). But ah ... if you'd like the mixing kit with free Smirnoff and Canada Dry ginger ale, well ...

Free stuff. Fun! Woohoo!

I prefer ginger ale in general but there is definitely a difference. I suppose if it's really a big deal and someone doesn't have any ginger beer on hand they can always have a few other cocktails first... then it won't matter ;)

That's the attitude, Meaghan! Nice one.

That's funny - Russian Standard is having a Moscow Mule promotion as well. I wonder why it got so popular all of a sudden.
