Here's what we learned this weekend whilst you were enjoying the last of the summer wine:

A pub landlady has saved a youth from a baying mob. Actually, we don’t know if they were baying – just reads better.

A North London tour company has collapsed leaving around 150 holiday makers stranded in Turkey.
