Win: Pair of Tickets to Gourmet Food & Wine Tasting with Jimmy Doherty at Vinopolis
Rum Tasting and More at Vinopolis

Jimmy Doherty from the BBC2 show Jimmy's Farming Heroes will host a gourmet food and wine tasting event at Vinopolis … and Londonist wants you to be there. The event will take place on Sunday 14th September, with sessions at noon and 3pm. Known for his traditional farming methods and rearing rare breed pigs such as Gloucester Old Spots, Saddlebacks and Essex pigs, Jimmy will share his insight about traditional farming in the modern world and explain how happy animals produce more flavourful and nutritious meat. Doherty will be joined by Paul Kelly from Kelly Turkeys, Nigel Bartle from Cornerways Nursery and resident Vinopolis wine expert, Tom Forrest.

So, if you’d like to learn about the best of British meat and produce … and which wines go best with them, enter your name, email address and contact number below for a pair of complementary tickets for the 3pm session. Just be the first to enter here (by midnight tonight). Otherwise, visit www.vinopolis.co.uk (or call 020 7940 8300). Tickets run £59, with each session lasting one hour and includes a copy of Jimmy’s book, “One the Farm”. Vinopolis is located at 1 Bank End, SE1 9BU.
