Air Ambulance Grounded

HelicopterNow's probably not the best time to suffer a triple compound fracture following a spot of ill-advised parkour: London's Air Ambulance has been grounded following an "incident" at Denham Airfield. The McDonnell Douglas 902 series chopper is being given the once-over to ensure the fan system, which regulates height in the absence of a tail rotor, is working properly. Several air ambulances and police forces across Britain have also been affected, and while it's bad news for the seriously injured, folk living near the Royal London Hospital in Whitechapel might get to enjoy their first good night's sleep in a while.
